This painting was inspired by a late night drive with my children on a country beach road in Nova Scotia, Canada. We had traveled from Houston and were on the last leg of our long journey which was a two hour drive at midnight. I was excited but anxious and exhausted. When I saw how the weathered telephone poles gleamed in my headlights and guided me along the way my heart was filled with gratitude and I knew everything would be alright. TDK
Awarded 3rd place in the watercolor division of the 10th Annual Visual Arts Exhibit of Fort Bend County in 1997.
