The Journey Home
Following in the footsteps of Christ
we come to understand all that we must
embrace on our journey home to the Father.
We must become childlike
in our acceptance of the reign of God.
We must leave our things behind and trust
in God rather than in our possessions or abilities.
We must treat one another
with love and compassion;
help others and allow ourselves to be helped.
We must climb over the walls we have built,
take off our self- protective armor
let go of resentment and forgive.
We must be guided by faith and trust
when we are lost and cannot see the path.
